It’s time to connect with your power. Now and forever.
Women of the world have a power that makes them unique and unbeatable. Unfortunately, over the years, we have struggled to break down gender prejudices and stereotypes that have been created to differentiate us from men — to describe us as weak and lesser than. Even today, we are still fighting these same stereotypes.
Right now, you might feel that you have lost the inner strength that tells you when you must fight. You might feel this way because you are tied to an abusive relationship or a job where your talent is dismissed, or because of some false idea you have of yourself. Either way, now is the time to get that power back — to make the change that will allow you to discover who you are. How powerful you are!
And let’s be clear, women are powerful in so many ways. We have the power to release what hurts us, the power to say no, and the power to know that we deserve the best in life. We also have the power to recognize that even though we have fear, we are still strong. In fact, we are strong because we can accept that we are not perfect or wonder women.
It’s time to break down the barrier that prevents us from being happy, from loving who we are. It’s time to stomp strong with every step we take, letting go and trusting.
We cannot show weakness any longer. It is time to let go of submission, dependency, and victim mentality. We alone have full responsibility for our happiness. Only when we change, the world will change.
Whether we are a housewife, businesswoman, spouse, or daughter, we must remember that if we are happy, those around us will also be happy.
Currently, the idea of equal rights has been misrepresented. We think that we should be equal to men, which makes us believe we have to compete with them.
However, we must understand that we all have unique talents which make us different, and accepting those differences is part of achieving equality. Nobody is like you, and that is your power.
We should not strive to be like men. We should strive to collaborate and share all of life’s responsibilities. Because you are a housewife, doesn’t mean that you are less than your spouse who goes to an office. Raising your children and meeting the household chores carries a power of organization as strong as any job in any company. Don’t forget that you and your spouse are a team and the duties you both perform are essential for the success of the family.
It doesn’t matter if you work at home, in an office or are managing your own business; your value as a woman remains the same. We’re just using our skills in different ways. At the end of the day, if what you do makes you happy, it means you’re on the right path.
There is something that I have always believed in and constantly stress in my seminars: We women need to trust our inspiration and in the magical and mysterious part of life. When we connect with our own inspiration, we will find all the solutions to our problems. We will know which road to take. There is no room for doubt or fear. This is a wonderful power that we all share.
Tomorrow, when you wake up, begin by making a mental list of all the things for which you can be grateful for. Look yourself in the mirror and make the decision to accept and love yourself just the way you are. Trust your own inspiration. Put yourself first and do what works for you. From this moment forward, do not see yourself as a victim. No more sacrifices. Those days are over. If there is something that doesn’t make you happy, simply let it go. Happiness starts with you!
