Most people don’t have a hard time telling you what they want out of life—to be happy, find love, enjoy a rewarding career, pursue passions. However, the challenging part is figuring out how to make those dreams come true. We’re taught from an early age to work hard, go to school, and live a good life, and while these are perfectly good suggestions, there is an even better solution. I like to call it one of the world’s best kept secrets to living the life you want to live, while also helping those around you live their best lives as well. What is it?
It’s putting yourself first.
If you’re like most people, you probably rolled your eyes, or mumbled “impossible,” believing that putting yourself first is a luxury for the rich and pampered, or even worse, the selfish. Or maybe you’re the type of person who believes that in order to be loved and accepted you have to say yes to everyone. Or you believe that you need to save the world. Or that it’s your responsibility to make your family and friends happy and successful. Regardless of your reasoning, it’s all the same thing—putting yourself last at the expense of others. And if you do this long enough, my friends, it will drain the life right out of you, until you have no space and energy left for your own dreams.
It’s time to step up to the front of the line, where all your dreams are waiting. Join me for a special Q&A as I show you how to put yourself first. It’s about time, right?
Putting yourself first takes reframing the entire way you look at yourself and your role in the world. It takes learning to say no and letting go of your ego and all the old tapes that say it’s your job to make the world perfect, or that you are responsible for others. Putting yourself first is allowing others to have their experiences so they can learn and grow, thus allowing you to pursue your own path. To do this, you must let go the control and learn to surrender to the Universe. It is an act of honoring your body, mind, and spirit, which can only happen if you are listening to what your body wants, and what the Universe needs.
But the payoff is worth it. As soon as you put yourself first, you will have more happiness, more energy, and more respect from others, along with better relationships, and freedom from fear and stress. More than that, you will be able to fill up your own tank so that you can do what fuels your Soul. This is the greatest gift you can give to your family and friends. To the Universe.
Join me on a journey to find the real you.
Better yet, be first in line. It’s where you belong.
