Do you know what I hear all the time? “Mabel, life is soooooo hard!”
I usually nod, and then agree that, yes, life is challenging, and it’s certainly filled with all kinds of obstacles that keep us on our toes. But then I will smile and say how fortunate we are that this challenging life also calls on us to seek out our spiritual nature—to become awake, conscious, and seekers of truth. And once we do this, we will realize the Universe’s great secret—life is actually easy. Yes, I’ll say it again: Life is easy!
Don’t believe me? Let me show you how in this month’s special Q&A:
Make Life Easier
Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 1 PM (Los Angeles)
The truth is, we are the ones who make life hard. We do it every time we worry about what others think of us, or what may happen tomorrow, or what we should have done five years ago. We make it hard when we look in the mirror and say we’re not good enough, thin enough, rich enough, or worthy of love, abundance, and joy. Well, it’s time for us to realize that all these thoughts are non-existent states. They live in our minds and our imaginations.
If we let them, these thoughts will eventually weigh us down with a heaviness that leads to despair and hopelessness. We become like a swimmer in choppy waters. The more we thrash and struggle, fight and resist, the more tired and defeated we become. At some point, it’s easy to give up and join hands with the majority of the planet who believe that this is “just the way life is.” Hard!
But, ah, what if we could learn to swim in a different way? What if we could let go of the mind and all the untrue thoughts we have made up? Imagine the life we could live—the infinite possibilities. Well, I’m here to tell you we can have this easy life. Better yet, I’m going to show you how. I’m going to show you how to stop fighting the water—to become one with the water (we’re all the same essence). In fact, I will show you how we can learn to float in choppy waters with inner balance and awareness.
Together, we will let go of the mind without worrying about the future or dwelling in the past. Together, we will strip away all the things that make life difficult. Together, we will calm the waters and embrace the effortless life.
Because this, my friends, is the way life should be.
I hope you join me. I promise I’ll make it easy!
