When it comes to the evolution of our planet (and its citizens), it’s easy to throw up our hands and feel helpless. We have warming oceans and melting ice caps, homelessness, poverty, violence, and civil unrest. It’s easy to believe we’re a planet that is deteriorating, not evolving.
Fortunately, I’m an optimist who believes that we are starting to wake up and realize that evolution is in our hands and that change begins with each of us. In fact, I believe a marvelous new evolution is waiting for us all. I’m talking about Human Evolution—the journey into states of Being and Consciousness beyond our wildest imagination. And the best part is that we don’t have to wait 3.5 billion years to experience it. It can be ours in a lifetime, or a month, a week, today.
My friend, there has never been a more important time than now for you to evolve into who you were meant to become. The world needs your gifts more than ever. Join me for this month’s Q&A, and we’ll take this journey together.
Now, for us to evolve as humans, we must first ask ourselves where it is we’re headed. As the great poet, Rumi said long ago, “We are what we seek.” And I believe if we are to evolve as humans, we must stop seeking power and possessions and start pursuing love and consciousness. And here’s the beautiful thing: we can’t do this unless we begin exploring our inner worlds. There is no other way. And as I will show you this month, the easiest way to explore the inner worlds is for us to stop relying on our five senses and begin relying on the invisible (what we feel and know in our hearts). We must leave the mind and embrace the eternal part of who we are.
And as we set upon this inner journey to evolve as humans, we must remember to be in this world, but not of it. Yes, we can put roofs over our heads, feed and clothe our families, find jobs, and embrace our precious gifts, but we must also realize that what matters most lives on the inside—our spirit and consciousness. I think it’s wonderful that we will only truly evolve as human beings when we recognize that we are spiritual beings.
And as part of this evolution, we will naturally (and gratefully) become better human beings and citizens of the earth—kinder and more compassionate, peaceful, and loving. This evolution will lead us to live happier and more abundant lives while creating a better world.
I don’t know about you, but that’s a journey I want to take. I hope you’ll join me.
