““Happiness is a shadow of Harmony; it follows Harmony. There is no other way to be happy.”
“Happiness is a shadow of Harmony.” This is a beautiful line of poetry. Osho is telling us that happiness is not our north star. And for that matter, neither is peace, joy, or abundance. On the contrary, these are all beautiful by-products of a deeper spiritual goal to find our own inner harmony. He is telling us that if we live in true harmony with all of creation, we will recognize our spiritual selves and realize that we are not separate from our Source.
Do this, and the rest of life will take care of itself.
In short, harmony must become our guiding star to a better life (and world). I know most of us see harmony in some parts of our world—we hear harmony in a piece of music or see it in color and form in a work of art, or the symmetry of nature or the wonder of the stars. Unfortunately, the last place it shows up is in our own lives. Until now!
And contrary to what people would like you to believe, it’s not as hard as you think to live a harmonious life. You simply need to take the first step. And you can start with this month’s special Q&A.
Yes, living in harmony seems like an impossible task. Life is complicated, convoluted, distracting, troubling, anxious, and chaotic. But as Albert Einstein once said (a philosopher as much as he was a scientist), “Out of clutter, find simplicity.” Put another way, out of the chaos we can find order and meaning while also recognizing that our imperfect world is pure perfection.
In this Q&A, I will show you how to live in harmony in the physical world. I will also show you how to let discord, point you toward a harmonious life. You will see that harmony is not only what gives our lives order and balance but meaning and purpose, while also revealing the truths that allow us to expand our awareness. It’s time to stop swimming upstream and learn to live in the flow of each moment. This is the inner harmony we seek.
Remember, to be in harmony is to be at one with ourselves. And when we bring harmony into our own hearts, we bring harmony into our homes, communities, and, eventually, the world.
Join me, and we’ll start living a harmonious life together!
